01 BEYOUTIFUL VITA COMMUNITY TREASURE ADOLESCENT & YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FUND
Throughout the year I give free 3 months 1:1 online coaching to at risk youth (including from development and humanitarian contexts) that wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford it. Adolescents and youth (age 12-25) can apply or can be nominated for the BeYOUtiful VITA Community Treasure Adolescent & Youth Mental Health Fund.
The application or nomination can be sent to info@beyoutifulvita.com and needs to include:
(1) Motivational statement,
(2) Background and family situation,
(3) Current Issue adolescent/ youth is dealing with,
(4) Reason for applying/ nomination.
02 1:1 SOUNDBATH with WAR SURVIVORS & REFUGEES
BeYOUtiful VITA works 1:1 with war survivors, refugees and other children and families affected by an emergency context through a trauma-informed approach during the soundbaths. In online sessions a safe space for relaxation, reduction and management of anxiety, fear and stress is created to support children and their families to manage uncertainty, and rebuild purpose, confidence, and hope for their lives. Currently BeYOUtiful VITA works with families in Afghanistan. If you want to apply for a soundbath series for your family you can write an email at info@beyoutifulvita.com.
03 BEYOUTIFUL IN-PERSON COMMUNITY SOUNDBATHS
BeYOUtiful VITA gives regular free community soundbaths at the Apostel-Paulus Church in Berlin Schöneberg to give a space for relaxation, letting the soul wander and immerse in deep rejuvenation and meditation or simply just be giving yourself a break from the hectic everyday life.
Come and join this magical soundscape and journey in a magical space! You can sit or lie on the church benches or come with your yoga matt to lie on the floor. We recommend having warm cloths and bring some sort of a blanket to cover yourself. The soundbath is best received when lying straight on the ground or bench but seated is absolutely possible as well. Whichever the position, it is normal for your body temperature to go down, therefore warm cloths and the blanket will keep you warm, comfortable and enjoy the sounds to the fullest!
04 SUPPORTING INDIGENOUS MAYA CHILDREN, FAMILIES & COMMUNITIES IN EXTREME POVERTY IN GUATEMALA
BeYOUtiful VITA donates to the non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) Sichere Perspektiven International e.V. (SP) that works with rural, indigenous Maya communities in Guatemala, was founded by Fiamma Rupp, and which is legally registered since 2004 with the tax authorities in Germany. Secure Perspectives International works with children, their families and communities fighting against extreme poverty. Further it works on the strengthening of civil society and its leaders as well as indigenous community development in a participatory fashion. SP works on the improvement of education, health, and infrastructure and in the realm of capacity building, human rights, gender mainstreaming, and social entrepreneurship.
SP believes that aid for self-help is indispensable for personal, social, and economic development. People become independent and free themselves from poverty and socio-economic dependence when they have the freedom of choice and the capability set to take and critically reflect their actions. Secure Perspectives International envisions education to be the transformative tool for creating opportunities and empowering people to become change makers and active agents in the shaping of their own life.
SP believes in an integrated and holistic development approach, which respects different cultures, traditions, beliefs, and the integrity of family structures. Thus, working with children means to foster their healthy upbringing while actively involving their families and promoting their socio-economic independence.
